This is a part-time student worker position supporting after-school programs for elementary school children. You will serve as a role model and facilitator, helping students learn and grow through structured play and creative activities.
What you'll do#
- Supervise and engage children in daily after-school activities.
- Lead groups of K-5th graders through a curriculum that includes painting, coloring, singing, and active play.
- Create and maintain a safe, positive, and fun learning environment.
What you'll need#
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- High school diploma.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- A positive attitude and a willingness to actively engage and play with children.
- Preferred majors include Psychology, Sociology, Human Resources, Communications, Nursing, Kinesiology, or Public Health.
Location & details#
- Location: Waco, Texas.
- Term: Fall 2026.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: Part-time, 5-10 hours per week during after-school hours (2:30 pm - 6:30 pm).
- Compensation: $13.00 - $14.00 per hour.
