About the role#
The Graduate Student Employee for Student Support Programs works within the Student Success Center to help foster connection, engagement, and access to resources for the student body. The position focuses on supporting underrepresented populations, including first-generation college students, military-connected students, and transfer students. You will contribute to creating a supportive and inclusive campus environment.
What you'll do#
- Assist with the development and implementation of programming for Student Support Programs.
- Create resources designed to enhance student engagement.
- Support initiatives that empower first-generation, military-connected, and transfer students.
- Participate in outreach activities and programs that advance the mission of the Student Success Center.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a graduate student.
- Academic background in fields such as Psychology, Sociology, Human Resources, Business Administration, or Communications.
- Commitment to fostering connection and access to resources for all students.
- Ability to contribute to a supportive and inclusive environment.
Location & details#
- Location: Sid Richardson, Waco, Texas.
- Schedule: 20 hours per week, typically 8:00 am to 5:00 pm with occasional evenings.
- Compensation: $15 per hour.
- Employment Type: Ongoing, part-time.
