Graduate Student Employee Biweekly - Graduate Assistant Videographer for Chapel - BC

About the role#

Baylor University is seeking a Graduate Assistant Videographer to support the Spiritual Life department. This role focuses on producing 1–2 minute promotional videos for chapel services to help students better understand their options. The position requires a commitment of 10 hours per week, beginning in Fall 2026.

What you'll do#

• Light, shoot, and mic interviews with chapel leaders, including all setup and tear down.
• Capture B-roll footage during chapel services.
• Edit video content to provide context for prospective attendees.
• Manage equipment check-out and return processes through FDMS.

What you'll need#

• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere.
• Experience with DSLR and Blackmagic camera systems.
• Competency with professional audio and lighting equipment.
• Strong administrative, organizational, and communication skills.
• Availability to work some nights and weekends as required.
• Currently enrolled as a graduate student, preferably in Media Studies, Communications, or Graphic Design.

Location & details#

• Location: Bobo Spiritual Life Center, Waco, Texas.
• Schedule: 10 hours per week, based on chapel needs.
• Compensation: $13.00 per hour.
