About the role#
The Data Quality Assistant supports the CIS HOT program and data teams by monitoring campus information. This role ensures that data entered into the state database meets all local and state standards. You will track specific data points using Excel and coordinate with leadership to maintain accurate documentation.
What you'll do#
- Review data entered into the CIS database for accuracy.
- Complete monitoring spreadsheets for assigned campuses.
- Submit monitoring reports to the Campus Program Director and the Grants & Management Director.
- Maintain accurate documentation and a working knowledge of CIS policies.
- Build and maintain professional relationships with CIS staff.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment as a student at Baylor University.
- Eligibility for Federal Work Study.
- Basic computer proficiency, including foundational Excel skills.
- Strong focus and attention to detail.
- Ability to clear a Criminal Background Check.
- Majors considered include Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Administration, Psychology, Communications, Public Health, and Sociology.

- Location: Waco, Texas.
- Modality: On-site.
- Compensation: $12.00 per hour, with a $1.00 increase for each returning year.
- Terms: Fall 2026 and Fall 2027.
