Athletics - Ticket Office Student Assistant

About the role#

The Athletics Ticket Office Student Assistant supports the daily operations and sales efforts of the Baylor University Athletic Ticket Office. This role involves direct interaction with customers and requires participation in game day event operations. Working football games is mandatory for all student staff until halftime, while other sporting events are scheduled based on availability.

What you'll do#

• Assist with the operations and sales of the Athletic Ticket Office.
• Provide customer service to clients through incoming calls and emails.
• Conduct outbound sales efforts in conjunction with the Ticket Sales Center.
• Perform business operations duties and assist with various projects and tasks as assigned.
• Comply with university policies and maintain regular, punctual attendance.

What you'll need#

• Excellent interpersonal communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and take initiative.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Capacity to learn and utilize new software quickly.
• Proficiency with the internet.
• Students pursuing degrees in Business Administration or Communications are preferred.
