About the role#
This student worker position supports the Advocacy Center for Crime Victims and Children. You will assist agency leaders with internal operations and community outreach efforts to raise awareness of center services.
What you'll do#
- Create engaging content for social media, the agency website, and other publications.
- Promote agency fundraisers and special events.
- Support internal administrative duties, including front desk operations.
- Assist with the enhancement of onboarding activities.
- Collaborate with agency leadership on organizational projects.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a degree program such as Communications, Public Health, Sociology, or Psychology.
- Ability to work a minimum of 10 hours per week.
- Availability between 8:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday, or 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Fridays.

- Location: Waco, Texas.
- Modality: On-site at the Advocacy Center for Crime Victims and Children.
- Term: Fall 2026 through Summer 2027.
- Compensation: $13.50 per hour.
