Accounting Assistant - BC

About the role#

This position supports the financial operations of the Off Campus Community Service department at Baylor University. The role involves working directly with the Financial Director and the Administrative Accounting Assistant to facilitate daily accounting processes and community service initiatives.

What you'll do#

• Assist with general accounting tasks and administrative accounting processes.
• Collaborate with the Financial Director and Administrative Accounting Assistant on departmental operations.
• Support external community service partners through assigned projects.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment as a student, ideally pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
• Ability to maintain a consistent work schedule of 10 to 20 hours per week.
• Capacity to work during standard business hours, Monday through Friday between 8:30 am and 5:00 pm.

• Term: Fall 2026.
• Compensation: $11.00 - $12.50 per hour.
