About the role#
These internship opportunities are available exclusively to current Bay State Community Services staff members. You will work within our Child and Family Services programs to provide clinical support and therapeutic interventions in home and community settings.
What you'll do#
- Provide intensive family clinical support in home and community settings.
- Facilitate in-home therapy services as a structured, strength-based intervention to improve family functioning.
- Help children and adolescents develop coping strategies for traumatic reactions.
- Work to reduce symptoms of depression, anxiety, or acting out behaviors.
- Apply evidence-based interventions such as TF-CBT.
What you'll need#
- Current employment at Bay State Community Services.
- Enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or Human Services.
- Experience working with youth and families.
- Strong computer skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to maintain a flexible schedule.
