About the role#
The Bankers Trust Summer Internship Program offers students a chance to gain professional experience within the BTC Trust Company team in Sioux Falls. You will work under the guidance of a supervisor who ensures your time is focused on substantive tasks. The program includes opportunities to meet with company executives and network with other interns.
What you'll do#
- Assist in the daily administration of trust accounts for high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth families.
- Review client requests and help process transactions.
- Engage with clients to plan for future wealth needs.
- Review legal, investment, and trust documents, updating accounting records as needed.
- Ensure compliance by reviewing trust agreements.
- Interview the CEO, President, Board members, and members of the Executive Committee.
- Complete a team intern project and participate in bank-sponsored events.
What you'll need#
- Current sophomore or junior undergraduate student status.
- A major in Finance, Legal, Tax, Accounting, or a related business field.
