About the role#
This internship program offers students pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree hands on work experience. You will gain insight into the processes and systems used to meet customer needs. Throughout the summer, you will receive coaching and mentoring to help build your skills and complete your assignments. You will work alongside a buddy and your manager to ensure a productive learning experience.
What you'll do#
- Complete internal projects to deliver customer outcomes and identify business improvements.
- Assist engineers and technologists with research, data analysis, and technical support.
- Participate in the design process by creating drawings or prototypes.
- Contribute to the development of new products or technologies.
- Maintain accurate records of experiments, designs, and project information.
- Prepare necessary reports and documentation.
- Collaborate on software development, coding, or programming tasks.
- Work within a team to communicate effectively and solve technical challenges.
- Apply Health, Safety, and Environment (HS&E) standards to all work tasks.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelors or Masters degree program in Engineering, Technology, Mechanics, or a related STEM field.
- A GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale.
- Fluency in oral and written English.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to relocate for the duration of the internship.
- Authorization to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
