About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience in sourcing for the energy industry. You will participate in team meetings, complete assigned projects, and present your results. A mentor and manager will support your development throughout the term. You will gain insight into the systems and practices used to meet customer requirements.
What you'll do#
- Evaluate and assess potential suppliers and vendors to meet quality, cost, and delivery requirements.
- Manage relationships with existing suppliers, including performance evaluations and issue resolution.
- Assist in managing inventory levels to maintain stock while minimizing costs.
- Create, process, and track purchase orders for materials and services.
- Apply Health, Safety, and Environment (HS&E) standards in all tasks to ensure compliance.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelors or Masters degree program in Computer, Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering, or Business Administration.
- A GPA of 3.0 or higher out of 4.0.
- Fluency in oral and written English with effective communication skills.
- Ability to relocate for the duration of the internship.
- Authorization to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
