About the role#
This internship offers an opportunity to gain professional experience within the private wealth management team. You will work alongside Financial Advisors, applying classroom knowledge to real-world projects. Interns are treated as team members and contribute directly to the success of the branch.
What you'll do#
- Support Financial Advisors by reviewing reports and conducting research.
- Prepare materials for client meetings and presentations.
- Assist with financial planning and market research.
- Handle administrative tasks, phone calls, and basic client questions.
- Contribute to branch marketing initiatives.
- Process paperwork and documentation.
- Take on additional duties and project support as needed.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or a related field.
- Anticipated graduation date of December 2027 or later.
- An interest in financial services and a career in private wealth management.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- High attention to detail.
- A motivated and proactive mindset.
- Prior experience in an office setting is preferred.
Location & details#
- Location: Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
- Term: Summer 2027 (starting June 2027).
- Commitment: Full-time (37.5-40 hours per week, Monday through Friday).
- Modality: On-site.
- Compensation: This is a paid internship.
