About the role#
This internship offers a chance to gain professional experience within our Private Wealth Management team. You will work alongside Financial Advisors, applying your academic knowledge to real-world projects and team goals. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Madison, Wisconsin, for the summer of 2027.
What you'll do#
- Support Financial Advisors by reviewing reports and conducting research.
- Prepare materials for client meetings and presentations.
- Assist with financial planning tasks and market research.
- Manage administrative duties, including handling calls and answering basic client questions.
- Contribute to branch marketing initiatives.
- Process necessary paperwork and documents.
- Assist with other duties and projects as needed.
What you'll need#
- Pursuit of a bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or a related field.
- An anticipated graduation date of December 2026 or later.
- A clear interest in building a career in private wealth management.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to connect with clients and associates.
- Organizational skills to manage multiple priorities and maintain attention to detail.
- A motivated, proactive approach to learning and contributing to the team.
- Prior experience in an office setting is preferred.
