About the role#
Baird is looking for a Talent Development intern to join our Human Resources team. You will work alongside experienced professionals to support talent management initiatives, instructional design, and firmwide programming. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to HR projects while gaining hands-on experience in a professional office environment.
What you'll do#
- Coordinate firmwide programming by managing invitations, registration, logistics, and material preparation.
- Build and maintain a library of learning resources by collecting and consolidating content.
- Research new training, coaching, and development topics to support learning concepts.
- Design communication materials such as flyers, brochures, and infographics.
- Test online course content and track necessary edits.
- Analyze survey data to spot emerging trends.
- Present findings and updates during Talent Development team meetings.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a degree in human resources, communications, marketing, instructional design, or a related field.
- An expected graduation date of May 2028 or later.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, specifically PowerPoint and Excel.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience with public speaking and presentations.
- A proactive mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Adaptability to learn new tools and technologies.
- Prior experience in an office setting is preferred.
Location & details#
- This is a hybrid role based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
- You will work from the office on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with remote work on Monday and Friday.
- The internship begins in June 2027.
- You must be available to work full-time (37.5 to 40 hours per week) during the summer and part-time (15 to 20 hours per week) during the school semesters.
- This position does not offer employment visa sponsorship.
