About the role#
Baird is looking for an intern to join the Operations Department. This role supports business functions by driving efficiency and reducing risk. You will work across specialized teams, including Client Account Support, Client Reporting, Enterprise Initiatives, and Product Support. This is a paid position that begins in May or June 2027. You will work full time during the summer and transition to part time during the school semesters.
What you'll do#
- Handle daily inquiries from branch offices via email and phone.
- Complete recurring team tasks.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure efficient customer service.
- Partner with team members to identify process improvements.
- Participate in a team-oriented environment while receiving mentoring and training.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Economics.
- Anticipated graduation date of May 2028 or later.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively as a team player.
- A positive attitude and strong initiative to seek additional work.
- Detail orientation with solid organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong client service, critical thinking, and troubleshooting abilities.
