About the role#
The Development Intern supports the fundraising and advocacy teams by maintaining organized systems and administrative workflows. This role is ideal for students in Business Administration, Communications, or Marketing who are detail-oriented and interested in supporting the mission of Atlas Free. This is an unpaid internship, though the organization can work with university requirements for academic credit.
What you'll do#
- Organize and maintain Google Drive folders and email communications.
- Assist the advocate team by managing inboxes and drafting emails using pre-written content.
- Streamline schedules and coordinate administrative tasks.
- Research and develop systems to implement new fundraising ideas.
- Provide general administrative support to enhance operational efficiency.
- Assist the fundraising and advocate teams with additional tasks as needed.
What you'll need#
- Strong organizational and detail-oriented skills.
- Proficiency in Google Suite and email management tools.
- Ability to work as a proactive problem-solver in a structured environment.
- Comfort working behind the scenes to support team goals.
- Alignment with the faith-based posture of Atlas Free, including an understanding of and commitment to Christian principles and practice.
Location & details#
- Location: Kirkland, Washington (On-site).
- Term: 12-15 weeks, rolling basis.
- Hours: 10-15 hours per week.
- Compensation: Unpaid.
