About the role#
The Development Intern supports the fundraising and advocacy efforts of Atlas Free. This position provides administrative assistance to ensure operations remain organized and efficient. The role requires a commitment to the organization's faith-based mission, as Atlas Free is a faith-based organization committed to Christian principles and practice.
What you'll do#
- Organize and maintain Google Drive folders and email communications.
- Assist the advocate team by drafting and preparing emails using pre-written content.
- Streamline schedules and coordinate administrative tasks.
- Research and develop systems to help implement new fundraising ideas.
- Provide general administrative support to enhance operational efficiency.
- Perform additional tasks as needed to assist the fundraising and advocate teams.
What you'll need#
- Highly organized and detail-oriented approach to work.
- Proficiency in Google Suite and email management tools.
- Proactive problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a structured environment.
- Comfort working behind the scenes to support fundraising efforts.
- Alignment with, understanding of, and agreement to live by the organization's posture as a faith-based organization committed to Christian principles and practice.
- Academic background in Business Administration, Communications, or Marketing is preferred.

- Location: Kirkland, Washington.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Duration: 12-15 weeks, 10-15 hours per week.
- Compensation: This is an unpaid internship; the organization is willing to work with university requirements for academic credit.
