About the role#
Astrolab is looking for a Production Engineering Intern to join our team in Hawthorne, California. This is a full-time, on-site internship focused on lunar rover development and manufacturing. You will work directly with our engineers to gain hands-on experience in the defense and space manufacturing industry.
What you'll do#
- Support the development of lunar rovers and their production processes.
- Troubleshoot manufacturing and testing processes as they arise.
- Perform process improvement tasks to increase efficiency.
- Collaborate with team members across various engineering disciplines.
- Contribute to areas such as avionics, structures and mechanisms, vehicle integration, and quality engineering.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical, Computer, Electrical, Industrial, or Aerospace Engineering.
- You are a motivated, creative, and exceptional individual.
- Ability to work on-site in Hawthorne, California.
