About the role#
Aspire Software is seeking an M&A Analyst for the Fall 2026 term to support investment activities within the LATAM region. This role provides hands-on experience in mergers and acquisitions, focusing on the identification and execution of software investment opportunities. The position is based in Montreal, Quebec, and requires travel to meet with businesses across LATAM.
What you'll do#
- Independently source and identify potential software investment opportunities.
- Build and maintain a robust investment pipeline.
- Perform financial modelling and commercial due diligence.
- Conduct comprehensive financial analysis.
- Travel to meet and engage with businesses across LATAM.
- Foster and develop strong relationships within the industry.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's degree program or a recent graduate in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modelling.
- Knowledge of company valuation methodologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fluency in English and French.
- Proficiency in Spanish and/or Portuguese.
- Passion for the software and investment sectors.
