About the role#
AspenTech is hiring a Project Engineering Intern for the Digital Grid Management team. You will work on a specific project within your assigned team during the summer of 2027. This role is based in our Medina, Minnesota office and requires full-time, on-site attendance. You will contribute to our control systems while gaining experience in a professional engineering environment.
What you'll do#
- Complete a project focused on your team's goals.
- Present your final results to senior leadership at the end of the summer.
- Collaborate with your project team and fellow interns.
- Participate in professional development sessions and networking events.
- Use technologies such as data analytics, automated test tools, or software programming to support DGM control systems.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor of Science program for Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong organization, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work in a challenging environment and drive solutions with persistence.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, Linux, Windows, C, C++, or Python is a plus.
