About the role#
As a Data Science Intern in the AI Technology Group, you will build the next generation of Asset Performance Monitoring technology. This role focuses on using machine learning, AI, and cognitive computing to drive innovation across our software platforms. You will work with a team of experts to transform complex ideas into solutions for the manufacturing and process industries.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and software developers to build machine learning applications.
- Work with customers, product managers, and technical staff to develop technology strategies for our Engineering Design and Simulation offerings.
- Investigate new technologies from industry and academia to determine how they can be integrated into our software.
- Represent the company at industry and academic meetings and conferences.
- Participate in the design, development, evaluation, and deployment of scalable, data-driven models.
What you'll need#
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Operation Research, or a related major. PhD candidates are preferred.
- At least 5 years of experience in data analysis and software development using Python, C++, C, or C#.
- Strong expertise in engineering mathematics, statistics, and optimization.
- Demonstrated experience with machine learning algorithms, including regression, deep learning, reinforcement learning, time series analysis, predictive modeling, data mining, and cognitive computing.
- A history of publishing research and results in the machine learning field.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
- Experience with LLM, generative AI, MLOps, Graph Knowledge, or cloud technologies is a plus.

- Modality: Hybrid (4 days in-office per week).
- Employment: Full-time paid internship.
