About the role#
The Energy Industrial Tech Services Intern will support engineering projects through data analysis, testing, and lab maintenance. This is a full-time, paid summer 2026 internship based on-site in Marlborough, Massachusetts.
What you'll do#
- Conduct technical analyses using calculation tools and data sets.
- Assist site engineers with executing testing, including mechanical construction and electromechanical assembly.
- Perform general lab setup and maintenance duties.
- Develop and maintain specification documents and calculation tools.
- Support data acquisition, analysis, and documentation tasks.
What you'll need#
- Completion of at least 2 years in a Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Industrial, or related engineering program.
- Proficiency in technical documentation and Excel spreadsheets.
- Experience or coursework in SolidWorks or similar CAD software.
- Ability to perform hands-on mechanical assembly or construction work.
- Capability to occasionally lift objects greater than 25 lbs and work in environments that may involve standing, walking, or exposure to varying ambient conditions.
