About the role#
The Software Engineering Intern joins our team for the Summer 2027 program. You will gain hands-on experience designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software applications using Microsoft technologies. You will contribute to our content authoring, publishing, and delivery platform, which supports digital learning products like e-books, tutorials, and assessments.
What you'll do#
- Build and support new functionality for the ATI Nursing platform.
- Work with Technical Product Owners, Technical Product Managers, and Business Product Owners to deliver projects.
- Collaborate with team members across different teams and locations.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle and all relevant agile ceremonies.
- Provide technical troubleshooting to support production issues.
- Support software deployments outside of standard work hours and participate in an on-call rotation.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s degree program in a computer-related field.
- Coursework knowledge of MS C#, JavaScript, MVC, SQL, HTML5, and CSS 3.0.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to translate business scenarios into technical solutions.
- Attention to detail and effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience with a MVVM framework, such as Angular, is preferred.
- Ability to work collaboratively on team projects.

- This is a full-time, paid internship.
- The role is based in Leawood, Kansas, and follows a hybrid work schedule.
