Management Intern - Marketing

About the role#

Career Services is seeking a creative Management Intern to contribute to the development and implementation of communication strategies, programs, and marketing materials. This role supports the dissemination of information to diverse audiences, including students, faculty, staff, alumni, and the community. This is a part-time, paid position offering up to 20 hours per week, with a term of up to 12 months and the possibility of a one-year extension based on performance.

What you'll do#

• Develop and implement communication strategies and marketing campaigns for Career Services.
• Craft and proofread marketing copy while adhering to brand standards.
• Manage the workflow for a team of peer workers, including designers and a copywriter.
• Maintain project trackers and calendars to ensure timely delivery of marketing assets.
• Assist the Social Media team as needed.
• Ideate, interview, and write articles for ASU Family.
• Analyze existing procedures and provide recommendations for improvement.

What you'll need#

• A High School Diploma and at least two years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of marketing principles and practices.
• Experience in organizing resources, establishing priorities, and coordinating activities.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with personal computer software applications.
• Preferred: Enrollment as a graduate student in a related field, knowledge of AP writing style, and basic project management experience.

Location & details#

• Work is primarily on-site at the Tempe, Arizona campus.
• The schedule is flexible based on programming needs and may include occasional nights and weekends.
• This role requires the ability to perform tasks in an office setting, including extended periods of sitting, keyboarding, and the ability to lift or move up to 25 pounds.
