Graduate Programs Student Recruiter

About the role#

The Graduate Programs Student Recruiter serves as a key representative for the W.P. Carey School of Business, focusing on building relationships with prospective students. This role utilizes a consultative approach to guide candidates through the admissions and enrollment process for graduate business programs. The position requires a balance of administrative database management and active outreach, including both local and international travel for recruitment events.

What you'll do#

• Deliver high-quality customer service through phone, email, and in-person interactions.
• Conduct individual and group presentations to advise prospective students on program formats, requirements, and outcomes.
• Design and execute recruitment events in both virtual and physical settings.
• Monitor and manage student data and reports within Salesforce to track communication and outreach efforts.
• Travel to networking events, career fairs, and community outreach opportunities to generate interest in the university.

What you'll need#

• Bachelor's degree and three years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of marketing and sales techniques.
• Experience working with diverse populations and cultures.
• Proficiency in CRM systems, specifically PeopleSoft and Salesforce.
• Ability to travel, including potential out-of-state or international trips for extended periods.
• Preferred: Experience in higher education recruitment.

• Location: Tempe, Arizona.
• Modality: Hybrid, with a blended schedule of on-campus and remote work.
• Employment: Full-time position.
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, with the requirement to work extended hours, evenings, and weekends as needed.
