About the role#
Arch Capital Group Ltd. is looking for a Sustainability Reporting & Strategy Summer Intern to join our team. This program offers hands-on experience within the insurance industry. You will work alongside professionals to develop your skills, contribute to sustainability projects, and receive feedback throughout the summer.
What you'll do#
- Support environmental and governance initiatives to improve sustainability outcomes.
- Conduct research and benchmarking to identify best practices and emerging trends.
- Assist with sustainability data analysis and greenhouse gas measurement.
- Monitor industry standards and regulations regarding sustainability reporting.
- Prepare materials, resources, and communications to support sustainability initiatives.
- Help with the Blue Goes Green committee by supporting employee-facing initiatives.
- Take on additional sustainability-related projects as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a Junior, Senior, or graduate student in Sustainability Management, Business, Economics, Environmental Science or Policy, Corporate Social Responsibility, or a related program.
- Graduation dates between December 2027 and May 2028.
- A minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- An interest in sustainability and corporate citizenship.
- Ability to organize research and data into clear, easy-to-understand findings.
Location & details#
- Location: White Plains, NY.
- Work Modality: Hybrid (2 days onsite and 3 days from home).
- Term: Summer 2027 (June 2, 2027 to August 6, 2027).
- Compensation: $26 to $28 per hour.
- Status: Paid, full-time internship. No relocation or housing assistance is provided.
