About the role#
The Security Operations Center (SOC) monitors and defends the Arch network against cybersecurity threats. The team identifies potential risks, monitors security events, and protects enterprise systems and data. This is a 10-week summer internship running from June 2, 2027, to August 6, 2027.
What you'll do#
- Collect and analyze security operations metrics.
- Review rules and configurations within security tools.
- Review security documentation, processes, and procedures.
- Create security-related reports and support operational reporting needs.
- Support the Security Operations Center with ongoing projects and initiatives.
What you'll need#
- Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA.
- Currently enrolled as a student seeking at least a bachelor's degree at an accredited institution.
- Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Interest in cybersecurity, security operations, and technology.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Location & details#
- Location: Greensboro, North Carolina.
- Work Modality: Hybrid. You must be available to work onsite a minimum of two days per week.
- Compensation: $26 per hour.
- Employment Type: Full time.
