About the role#
Arcadis is looking for a Construction Management Intern to support a NYCDEP project in Yonkers, New York. You will assist the construction management team with field office tasks and site inspections. This role involves working in an active construction environment, requiring a mix of office duties and boots-on-the-ground fieldwork.
What you'll do#
- Update conformed contract drawings based on RFI responses and change orders.
- Use Excel to track equipment utilization, materials, and manpower.
- Complete field inspection reports using e-Builder.
- Manage inspection photos and project documents on the CM SharePoint site.
- Help prepare monthly reports and construction progress meeting presentations.
- Support day-to-day CM team activities as directed by the Resident Engineer and other staff.
- Track safety performance in coordination with the CM Safety Team.
- Attend meetings and write meeting minutes.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s degree program for Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong communication skills to work with team members and stakeholders.
- Ability to pass a site security background check.
- Preference for candidates with commercial or industrial construction experience.
- Experience with field engineering, construction oversight, or construction management is preferred.
- 10-Hour OSHA Construction Training is preferred.

- Compensation: $26.96 to $40.44 per hour.
