About the role#
This is an unpaid student worker position for Summer 2026 at The Golden Spur, located at the University of South Carolina. This role involves supporting food service and catering operations on-site.
What you'll do#
- Provide customer service to all guests.
- Set up and break down food stations for events.
- Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely manner.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Assist with inventory and stocking tasks as needed.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a Civil Engineering major.
- A positive attitude and the ability to work well with others.
- Ability to handle food safely and responsibly.
- Strong communication skills.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Prior experience in food service or catering is preferred.
