About the role#
As a Software Engineering Intern, you will contribute to production-adjacent engineering work within a small, high-performing team. You will gain hands-on experience in how modern enterprise software is designed, built, tested, and shipped at scale. This role involves working alongside engineers who use AI tooling to maintain high standards for quality and correctness while accelerating development.
What you'll do#
- Develop Clean Software: Apply your knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming to contribute to full-stack components.
- Engineer with AI: Use AI coding tools as a productivity multiplier by generating, reviewing, and critically evaluating AI-assisted code.
- Debug and Learn Systems Thinking: Investigate issues, identify root causes, and contribute to fixing software defects with guidance from experienced engineers.
- Collaborate and Communicate: Participate in design discussions, stand-ups, and code reviews while learning to translate requirements into technical solutions.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering with a strong academic record.
- Must be returning to school following the completion of the Summer 2027 internship.
- Ability to commit to a full-time 40-hour per week schedule.
- Proven fluency in AI and LLMs, including both strategic development of AI capabilities and hands-on use of AI tools.
