About the role#
As a Maintenance Intern, you will assist the Maintenance team with day-to-day activities to keep the plant, production areas, and equipment clean, safe, and efficient. This position offers hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment while you learn about equipment care and preventive maintenance from experienced professionals.
What you'll do#
- Assist the Maintenance team with routine, non-technical maintenance and facility support tasks.
- Perform minor repairs as directed.
- Help with basic preventive maintenance activities.
- Clean and maintain production equipment and work areas.
- Respond to production line maintenance requests.
- Identify and report equipment concerns or unusual conditions.
- Maintain an organized and safe work environment.
- Use basic hand tools safely and appropriately.
- Support Maintenance Technicians and Leaders with assigned projects.
- Follow all company safety, quality, and operating procedures.
- Complete tasks accurately and on time.
What you'll need#
- An interest in manufacturing, maintenance, skilled trades, or industrial operations.
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn.
- Basic familiarity with hand tools.
- Self-motivation, dependability, and the ability to take initiative.
- Ability to follow instructions and work with attention to detail.
- Commitment to workplace safety.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to work different shifts, weekends, or overtime as needed.
- High school diploma or GED is preferred.
- Current enrollment in a technical, trade, vocational, or manufacturing program is a plus.
- Previous experience in manufacturing, production, or maintenance is preferred but not required.

- This is a full-time, on-site, paid internship.
- The role operates on a rolling basis.
