    About the role#

    Analogic is hiring an Engineering Co-Op to work on aviation security technology. You will join our team in Salem, New Hampshire, to support the development of imaging systems used in airports. This is a paid, full-time, on-site position with a rolling start date.

    What you'll do#

    • Analyze CT scan data for aviation security applications.
    • Create and use software tools and scripts to process imaging data.
    • Support image analysis initiatives with computational techniques.
    • Test and evaluate the performance of CT reconstruction software.
    • Assist with system tuning and image quality optimization.
    • Document your technical findings and present them to our engineering team.
    • Work alongside experienced engineers on research and product improvement projects.

    What you'll need#

    • You are currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, or a related field.
    • Experience programming in Python or MATLAB/Octave.
    • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
    • You can communicate technical findings effectively.
    • Exposure to Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Artificial Intelligence, or DSP is preferred.
    • Experience with Linux and GPU programming is a plus.
    • An interest in computer vision and imaging systems.
