About the role#
Amsted Rail is hiring a Quality Analyst Co-Op for its facility in Granite City, Illinois. This position supports the casting quality-engineering group and requires a student who can work part-time while enrolled in school.
What you'll do#
- Manage one ongoing major project.
- Perform daily tasks within the casting quality-engineering group.
- Assist with technical issues related to product quality, metrology, and non-destructive testing.
- Manage the throughput of products.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgy, or Engineering Management with an Industrial Engineering focus.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel.
- Experience with CAD software.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work from written or verbal instructions.
Location & details#
- This position is located in Granite City, Illinois.
- This is an on-site, part-time role.
- Pay is between $18 and $20 per hour.
