About the role#
The Engineering Co-Op works with the Engineering and Quality Manager to support manufacturing processes and technical documentation. This position offers hands-on experience in an industrial environment and exposure to engineering problem-solving.
What you'll do#
- Create and revise 3D models and 2D drawings using Creo software.
- Develop and update work instructions and technical documentation.
- Support engineering and management teams with daily operational tasks.
- Organize and analyze data using Microsoft Excel.
- Assist with troubleshooting manufacturing equipment.
- Ensure all work complies with plant safety, ergonomic, and environmental standards.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Mechatronic Engineering.
- Availability to work about 20 hours per week during the school year and up to 40 hours during the summer.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word.
- Experience with 3D or 2D CAD software, specifically Creo.
- Prior internship or co-op experience.
- Hands-on mechanical aptitude or experience in a technical setting.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring a full range of motion, including bending, squatting, and reaching.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment while wearing required personal protective equipment.
