About the role#
As a Data Engineer intern, you will join our team for a 10 to 14 week program starting in May 2027. This position offers a chance to build your technical skills while gaining exposure to our business operations. You will work on projects that support our data infrastructure and contribute to our analytics and reporting goals.
What you'll do#
- Build and enhance data pipelines using SQL, Python, and cloud technologies like GCP or AWS.
- Analyze data issues, perform quality checks, and support troubleshooting efforts.
- Work alongside engineering and business teams to document solutions and deliver reliable data.
- Develop an understanding of our corporate culture and business structure.
- Contribute your own ideas and strategic approaches to team projects.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited 4-year college or university pursuing a Bachelors, Masters, or PhD.
- A major in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Data Science.
- Graduation date of August 2027 or later, with a strong preference for those graduating in August 2027, December 2027, or May 2028.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, and cloud platforms like GCP or AWS.
- Ability to work on-site or in a hybrid arrangement.

- Location: Madison, Wisconsin.
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Compensation: $25.00 to $39.00 per hour.
- Employment: Full-time internship.
- Travel: Up to 10% travel may be required.
