About the role#
We are seeking a motivated Supply Chain Intern to join our team at the distribution center. This role provides hands-on experience in supply chain management and data analysis, allowing you to apply academic knowledge to real-world retail operations. You will work closely with our supply chain and analytics teams to support various projects and initiatives.
What you'll do#
- Collect, analyze, and interpret supply chain data to identify trends and insights.
- Support the development and maintenance of supply chain dashboards and reports.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize inventory management and forecasting processes.
- Conduct data validation and quality checks to ensure the accuracy and reliability of information.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives by providing data-driven recommendations.
- Assist in preparing presentations and reports for stakeholders and support ad-hoc analysis as needed.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in Supply Chain Management, Data Analytics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with supply management tools such as ERP systems, EDI Management, or inventory tracking is a plus.
- Familiarity with supply chain concepts and practices.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently.
- Ability to work a minimum of 20-25 hours per week with a few days of open availability.
