About the role#
Allegion is hiring a Supply Chain Intern for the summer of 2027. This is a full-time, paid, on-site position based in Colorado Springs, Colorado. You will work with operations leaders, material planners, and buyers to coordinate the flow of materials. The goal is to support company objectives regarding customer service, resource utilization, and inventory investment.
What you'll do#
- Analyze data to create scenarios that balance demand and supply while minimizing the impact of demand volatility.
- Translate the monthly SIOP consensus plan into detailed monthly and weekly schedules.
- Compare scheduling plans against capacity plans.
- Collaborate with project managers on process improvement initiatives.
- Review the data integrity of ERP planning parameters, including lead times, lot sizes, and safety stocks.
- Update training materials and documentation for purchasing, receiving, inventory control, and production scheduling.
- Complete additional projects as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a BS or BA program for business, supply chain, or a related field.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to make recommendations with limited time or information.
- Ability to communicate effectively across internal materials departments.
- Comfort leading discussions based on data analysis.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and experience with data analysis tools.
- General knowledge of ERP systems and manufacturing processes.
- Familiarity with Lean Principles is preferred.
