About the role#
AgCarolina Farm Credit offers a full-time, paid summer internship for students interested in agricultural lending. You will work directly with professionals to support the financial needs of rural communities and agricultural operations across the region.
What you'll do#
- Shadow loan officers to learn the fundamentals of credit and finance in agriculture.
- Assist with Association-wide initiatives that support lending operations and member services.
- Explore how different departments work together to drive success.
- Contribute to projects that support agriculture and rural communities.
What you'll need#
- Status as a rising junior or senior pursuing a degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Finance, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- A valid driver’s license and the ability to travel throughout the AgCarolina territory.
- Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

- This position is based in Greenville, North Carolina.
- This is an on-site, full-time internship for Summer 2027.
- AgCarolina Farm Credit does not provide employment visa sponsorship.
