About the role#
The Sales Internship at Aerotek is a 10-week paid program. You will learn the three core phases of our business: Recruiting, Account Management, and Field Support. This role focuses on sales and requires strong business acumen as you interact with employees, candidates, contractors, and clients. Successful completion of the program may lead to a full-time offer for our Sales Development Representative program.
What you'll do#
- Post open positions online using our candidate tracking system.
- Review resumes and identify qualified candidates for the interview process.
- Coordinate interview schedules between candidates and recruiters.
- Shadow recruiters during phone calls, interviews, and reference checks.
- Document activity within the Applicant Tracking System.
- Attend contractor lunches and networking events.
- Shadow account managers on cold calls, client visits, and during the client acquisition process.
- Observe requisition qualifications with account managers.
- Participate in lead generation and cold calling sessions.
- Work with field support to learn about background investigations, drug testing, and the unemployment claims process.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a college or university pursuing a BA or BS degree.
- Preference for students transitioning between their junior and senior years.
- Preference for those with a sales degree, minor, or certificate.
- Experience in customer service and sales.
- Proficiency with MS Office.
