About the role#
As a Commercial Financial Analyst Intern, you will support the Pricing and Commercial Finance team. You will gain hands-on experience in financial analysis, pricing strategy, and the evaluation of business opportunities. This role is designed for students interested in corporate finance, FP&A, or business analytics who want to understand how financial decisions influence business performance.
What you'll do#
- Develop and maintain pricing models for business opportunities.
- Perform technical analysis to determine present and future financial performance.
- Support revenue, cost, and profitability analyses for client engagements.
- Research pricing trends, competitive market information, and industry benchmarks.
- Evaluate actual business results against forecasts and assumptions.
- Partner with Finance, Sales, Operations, and Strategy teams on pricing projects.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and recommendations for business stakeholders.
- Analyze data to identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks.
- Assist with process improvement and automation initiatives.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Mathematics, Data Analytics, Statistics, or a related field.
- Strong academic performance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including familiarity with functions, pivot tables, and data visualization tools.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Relevant coursework in finance, accounting, economics, statistics, or business analytics.
- Experience with large datasets, financial models, or analytical projects is preferred.
Location & details#
- Location: Conway, Arkansas (On-site).
- Term: Winter 2027 (Begins January 11, 2027).
- Schedule: Approximately 20 to 25 hours per week during the school year, with the opportunity for up to 40 hours per week during academic breaks.
- Eligibility: Applicants must have work authorization that does not require company sponsorship now or in the future.
- Graduation: Anticipated graduation date of May 2027 or December 2027.
