About the role#
The Program Associate is a generalist role supporting the Fellowship team across education, operations, and events. You will work on core curriculum programs and specialized learning experiences for fellows. This position reports to the Chief of Staff, Fellowship, and is part of the Program Operations team. It is a full-time role for an early-career professional looking to learn the strategy and operations behind a fellowship that supports scientist-entrepreneurs.
What you'll do#
- Coordinate Fellowship education programming, including logistics, communications, materials, and attendance tracking.
- Support the planning and execution of the annual Fellowship Retreat.
- Create and update Fellowship resources, such as guides and templates, to help fellows access information.
- Manage the Chief Fellowship Officer’s calendar, meeting coordination, and administrative tasks.
- Maintain and analyze program data to track engagement and performance, creating simple visualizations to share findings.
- Handle special projects and emerging priorities across the Fellowship team.
What you'll need#
- 0 to 2 years of experience in program coordination, operations, project management, or administrative support.
- Comfort working with data, including basic analysis, visualization, and presenting findings.
- Tech-savvy approach with an interest in using new tools, including AI, to improve efficiency.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams.
- Ability to adapt, be resourceful, and figure things out without an established playbook.
- Clear communication skills and a desire to collaborate with diverse teams.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid position.
- The role is remote, though candidates should be based near or willing to relocate to the SF Bay Area, Boston, New York, or Houston.
- Hiring is on a rolling basis.
