About the role#
This Behavior Analysis Practicum is for students currently enrolled in an accredited master's program who are working toward their BCBA certification. You will gain clinical experience in a center-based setting while receiving supervision and support to complete your remaining fieldwork requirements.
What you'll do#
- Provide early intervention therapy to children between 18 months and 13 years old.
- Implement individualized treatment plans and collect data on patient progress.
- Develop clinical skills under the direct supervision of a BCBA.
- Collaborate with BCBAs and other team members to support patient care.
- Dedicate 8 hours per week, outside of direct care, to complete BDS modules.
- Prepare to sit for the BACB exam within 6 months of your start date.
What you'll need#
- Proof of enrollment in an accredited master's program in Psychology or a related field.
- Current status as a Behavior Technician or Registered Behavior Technician.
- Completion of at least 85% of your required fieldwork hours (1700 of 2000 hours).
- All restricted hours must be completed.
