About the role#
The Business Technology Solutions internship offers students the chance to work on data or software engineering projects. You will join one of two tracks: Software/Application Engineering or Data Engineering. This is an 11-week, full-time, on-site program for Summer 2027.
What you'll do#
- Design, build, and maintain enterprise applications.
- Develop and test responsive user interfaces.
- Build backend services, microservices, and APIs.
- Implement server-side logic and data pipelines.
- Optimize system performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Own front-end and back-end components from start to finish.
- Build and maintain data infrastructure to ensure secure, efficient storage.
- Integrate data sources to support analytics and data science.
- Support the development of technology solutions for business and scientific questions.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, AI, or a related field with a minor or concentration in these areas.
- Graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028.
- Must be enrolled in university the semester after the internship and graduate within one year post-internship.
- Cumulative GPA of 3.00 or higher.
- Previous internship or related experience.
- Software Engineering track: Experience with NodeJS, Vue.js, HTML, Java, JavaScript, SQL, TypeScript, APEX, or Python. Ability to apply generative AI to software solutions is a plus. A public code portfolio is highly preferred.
- Data Engineering track: Programming experience in Java, Python, R, and SQL, plus experience with APIs and machine learning or large language models.
- Strong analytical skills, technical insight, and creative problem-solving abilities.
- Demonstrated teamwork, adaptability, initiative, and integrity.
- Communication, leadership, and project management skills.

- Compensation: Paid internship with relocation support for eligible students.
