About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027. You will report to a Senior Business Controller and gain practical experience through various financial projects. The role is designed to help you build skills while supporting our operations.
What you'll do#
- Support month-end and quarter-end closing processes.
- Analyze financial data and create variance reports.
- Track actual spending against budgets to identify variances.
- Build financial dashboards and visualizations.
- Conduct research on financial trends and industry benchmarks.
- Collaborate with teams to support operations and ensure projects finish on time.
- Identify solutions for clients by using insights about customer needs.
- Participate in team meetings and brainstorming sessions.
- Seek feedback from your manager and team to improve your performance.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor's or master's degree program in Finance, Accounting, or a related field in the United States.
- Ability to organize and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
- Capacity to manage multiple tasks at once while maintaining quality.
- Critical thinking skills to analyze complex situations and develop solutions.
- Ability to communicate ideas and share information with team members.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without company sponsorship now and in the future.
Location & details#
- This role is available in Memphis, TN, Cary, NC, and St. Louis, MO.
- The work modality is on-site or hybrid.
- You must reside within a 50-mile radius of the office location.
- You are responsible for your own commuting arrangements and must have reliable transportation.
- This position does not offer relocation assistance or stipends.
