About the role#
Zetier is hiring Cyber Engineering Interns to work on real-world cyber capabilities. You will work alongside professional mentors using production infrastructure with an operational focus. This role involves designing, developing, and deploying tools that intersect with reverse engineering, low-level software development, OS internals, command and control, persistence, and vulnerability research.
What you'll do#
- Develop real-world cyber capabilities.
- Collaborate with professional mentors and teammates.
- Communicate project progress and technical details to customers.
What you'll need#
- Proficiency in C or C++ and Python.
- Experience with systems software development, specifically OS kernel drivers.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance.
- Experience with reverse engineering tools like Ghidra, IDA Pro, or gdb.
- Knowledge of networking protocols including 802.11ac, Zigbee, GSM, SATCOM, SDN, UHF/VHF, or 5g.
- Experience with POSIX or WIN32 API.
- Development experience on embedded platforms such as uBoot, drone firmware, or IOT.
- Ability to read assembly or compiled programs for x86, x64, or ARM architectures.
- Experience implementing cryptographic primitives like AES-GCM or ECDSA.
- Background in developing or patching version control software like git, svn, or mercurial.
- Experience developing software for mobile platforms including Android or iOS.
- Experience working in small cross-domain development teams.
- An active U.S. security clearance is preferred.
- Pursuing a degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science.
