About the role#
We are looking for an Internal Audit intern to join our team for a year-long part-time program. You will support the Operations, Franchise, and IT Audit team. This role provides exposure to various business areas including finance, accounting, food safety, supply chain management, and IT security.

- Support the Operations, Franchise, and IT Audit team with daily tasks and projects.
- Gain hands-on experience by contributing to business outcomes.
- Collaborate with team members and network across the organization.
- Receive coaching and professional development from leadership.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a college student graduating by January 2027 or as a graduate student in Accounting, Finance, or Business Analytics.
- 2-3 years of experience in Records Information Management or a related field.
- Expert knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Strong communication, leadership, and project management skills.
- Analytical mindset with an ability to work through ambiguity and pay attention to detail.
- US citizenship or unrestricted work authorization.
- Availability to work part-time for one year.
- A passion for food, community involvement, and corporate social responsibility.
- Knowledge of Microsoft O365, SharePoint Groups, Kofax Capture, business intelligence platforms, or process automation tools is a plus.
- A minor in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, or other quantitative areas is a plus.
Location & details#
- Location: Louisville, Kentucky.
- Modality: Hybrid. You will work from home on Mondays and Fridays and in the office on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
- Term: January 2027 through December 2027.
- Commitment: Part-time at 20 hours per week.
- This position is paid.
