About the role#
The Summer 2027 internship program provides hands-on experience in the construction industry. You will apply your academic knowledge to real-world settings and rotate through multiple departments to understand how teams deliver projects on schedule.
What you'll do#
- Rotate through various departments to gain exposure to different functions.
- Use your academic background to help deliver projects on time.
- Seek advice and mentorship from peers and experienced professionals.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in or recent graduation from an undergraduate or graduate program in Civil, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Reliable transportation and the ability to travel or relocate for the summer.
- Strong work ethic, professionalism, and reliability.
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage your time effectively.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Willingness to take detailed notes, accept feedback, and learn new construction and project management skills.
- A positive attitude and the ability to work well in a team.

- Location: Birmingham, Alabama.
- Term: Summer 2027 (May 17, 2027 to August 6, 2027).
- Modality: On-site, full-time.
- This is a paid internship.
