About the role#
This 8-week summer internship offers hands-on experience in the insurance industry. You will work within our Corporate Risk and Broking team to help clients manage their total cost of risk. This program is designed for students entering their senior year of university. It provides exposure to client projects, mentorship, and professional development opportunities.
What you'll do#
- Gather data and analytics to assess client risks.
- Create loss summaries and review program binders for accuracy.
- Assist brokers with client renewal strategy meetings and requests for proposals.
- Research market solutions to develop risk strategies for clients.
- Introduce yourself to carrier and trading partners.
- Maintain accurate records in company systems.
- Learn core insurance principles and brokerage concepts.
- Collaborate with internal teams to support client needs.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a bachelor's degree program with a target graduation date of May 2027.
- Status as an incoming senior in Fall 2027.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work legally in the United States without visa sponsorship.
- Detail-oriented mindset with strong time management skills.

- Location: New York, New York.
- Work Modality: Hybrid, with an expectation to be in the office 3 days per week.
- Term: Summer 2027.
- This is a paid, full-time position eligible for overtime.
