Worthington Enterprises is seeking an Engineering Intern for the Summer 2026 term, with the expectation to continue through the 2026/2027 academic year. This role supports the Design Engineer on critical projects and sustaining support, providing exposure to the design, manufacturing, and commercialization processes.
What you'll do#
- Assist with lab testing and write corresponding test reports.
- Perform CAD modeling and create 2D drawings.
- Utilize 3D printing technology for project tasks.
- Interface with internal and external team members to accomplish project goals.
- Manage time effectively to meet project deadlines and completion dates.
What you'll need#
- Completion of at least 1-3 years of a college degree in Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Industrial, or Chemical Engineering or a related field.
- Strong analytical ability to solve problems.
- Proficiency with Microsoft applications.
- Familiarity with 3D and 2D modeling/drafting software and 3D printing.
- Solidworks knowledge is considered an advantage.
