About the role#
The 2026 Summer Internship Program at Worthington Enterprises provides undergraduate and graduate students with project-based, hands-on experience at the corporate headquarters. This program is designed to build professional skills through real business challenges, networking opportunities, and community engagement, all while adhering to the company's people-first philosophy.
What you'll do#
- Lead or contribute to business-driven projects, including generating ideas for product or process improvements, designing new tools or systems, and supporting innovation initiatives.
- Present project results and recommendations to managers, mentors, and senior leadership at the conclusion of the program.
- Engage in professional development training sessions covering topics such as business etiquette, transformational thinking, interviewing skills, and resume development.
- Participate in a group community service project with fellow interns.
- Gain exposure to functional areas including Engineering, Finance, Marketing, Supply Chain, Human Resources, IT, Communications, and Operations.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as an undergraduate or graduate student in a related field of study.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership abilities.
- A high level of curiosity, creativity, and a willingness to learn.
- Capability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment.
