Accounting Intern

About the role#

Worthington Enterprises is seeking an Accounting Intern to assist with routine accounting and analysis tasks. This role provides exposure to accounting, financial analysis, and forecasting while supporting monthly close procedures, transaction posting, and data compilation. This is a paid, part-time internship.

What you'll do#

• Prepare monthly journal entries and assist with month-end reporting.
• Conduct general ledger reviews.
• Compile and analyze key financial data.
• Support the preparation of executive report packages.
• Perform other accounting duties as assigned.

What you'll need#

• Currently working toward a Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• Proficiency in computer skills, with a strong focus on Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently with limited direction and as part of a team.
• Demonstrated integrity, values, principles, and a strong work ethic.
• Understanding of accounting concepts and a desire to apply them in a professional setting.
